DC Scrabble Club 171 is pleased to
report that for the first time in a decade, a fully-rated tournament was
held in the nation's capital: an 18-game event over the Veterans Day weekend,
Nov. 10-12, 2006. This event was directed by Ted Gest of DC and Mary Lou Goetz of
Annapolis tournament fame, with help from Vince Castellano, Alyssa Faria, Brian Bailey, and Austin Nichols.
